All of the Plus Looks From the Tadashi Shoji FW19 Show!

6:00 AM

Tadashi Shoji continues to do what he does best with his Fall/Winter 2019 collection; show stopping evening wear that's both timeless and inclusive.  Despite being primarily using fabrics that are notoriously difficult, each gown looked tailor made for its respective model.  It's details like this that prove Shoji is nearly unrivaled with his level of craftsmanship.

Stand out notes include the expert draping found on the one shoulder bodices, the incredible movement in gowns like this one that almost quite literally flowed like water (look 23), and a sequined dress with an ombre effect that looks damn near computer generated.  The vivid colors almost seemed to be made for the viewers at home; the rich jewel tones that were prevalent through the collection made it feel as if you could touch the soft crushed velvet through your screen.  The use of tulle, however, sometimes felt unnecessary and unnaturally heavy.
